In small groups participants build on contents of previous Glacier Training Programs to become proficient enough to undertake tours without a Mountain Guide.
Participants focus on practising rescue techniques in difficult conditions and situations and developing their leading skills and techniques
The Mountain Guide observes and allows participants to learn by doing whilst ensuring their safety. Feedback and suggestions are provided regularly so that participants can improve their mountaineering skills and safety techniques.
The aim is that upon completion of this program participants can lead average tours in the Alps without difficulties. The area around Grand Paradiso, one of the highest mountains in Italy is the location of this program where there are many summits over 4000m.
Six day courses also available where we will finish with an attempt at reaching the summit of Mont Blanc - a great opportunity to gain mountaineering experience.
