Via ferata is Italian for "iron road" and in German this is known as a klettersteig. It is a mountain route which is equipped with fixed cables, foot holds and ladders attached to the rock and used to ascend and descend safely.
The week long tour is based at the Valentini Hut where there are many Klettersteig possibilities, including some of the best via ferata in the Dolomites.
The highlight of this week is the climb up the West Ridge of the Marmolda, the highest peak in the Dolomites.
This area is also fantastic for challenging walking and hiking. If there are people or children in your group who do not necessarily want to scramble/climb we can organise guided day hikes. Please contact us for more information
