Autumn 2010

We would like to thank all our guests for a great summer season, as well as all the guides in our team who helped to make it so successful.

Andi and I are currently trekking & mountaineering in China/Tibet until mid October. We may not be able to respond to your enquiries for the winter season immediately but will do so upon our return.

Groβglockner (3798m) is Austria's highest mountain.

On the six day Glockner Tour we set off from Lienz in east Tirol fowards the Schober Mountain Group south of Groβglockner. In this mountain range there are over fifty 3000m peaks which offer plenty of possibilities for challenging climbs.

You will be accompanied by a Mountain Guide and a Walking Guide so participants can select if they would rather focus on hiking or experience more climbing and glacier mountaineering.

Groβglockner is the highlight of the week and requires strenuous climbing on rock & ice. 

The Normal route is the easier option, the Stüdlgrat (ridge) is more challenging.

Highlights:    Climbing Austria's highest mountain - Groβglockner 

Dates:            2 or 6 days in August, September & October 

Fitness:         Able to walk for 4 - 6 hours per day

Group:           Maximum of 3 participants per Guide for Glockner Normal route

                         Maximum of 2 participants for Glockner Stüdlgrat

Price:             All prices include guiding and half board accommodation
