The Hoch Tirol (High Tyrol) tour is otherwise known as the Haute Route of the Eastern Alps.
This inspiring ski traverse takes us from Kasern in South Tirol through the fascinating mountain and glacial scenery of the Venediger Group, to Großglockner, the highest mountain in Austria and ends in the East Tirolean village of Kals.
On the way we will ascend some of the most beautiful and well known peaks of the Eastern Alps - Großer Geiger (3360m), Großvenediger (3674m) und Großglockner (3.798 m). And also some lesser known but just as stunning peaks such as the Stubacher Sonnblick (3088m) and the Granatspitze (3086m).
This tour does require both a high level of fitness and the ability to ski well but participants can certainly enjoy the rewards - a 3000m peak everyday and some of the best slopes in the Alps!
